The League of Leading Ladies (LLL) is a business club for female business owners and c-level ladies of global enterprises.
It was founded by Swiss serial entrepreneur Sandra-Stella Triebl in 2004. It is accessible by invitation only.
At present we have 52 full members of this outstanding business club.
Instead of a „normal“ yearly get-together for members, Sandra-Stella decided to create a international and English speaking Conference and make it accessible to non-members, men and women alike. That’s how it started. The Conference in 2018 will be the fourth edition.
If you like to connect with our president Sandra-Stella Triebl, click here to find her on LinkedIn.
Well – what do we all really know what is going to happen? Even futurists, politicans, spiritual leaders, scientists and visionary business owners are not able to predict our future. The only thing we might know at present is: everything is going to change constantly. And we should try to keep up with the rising speed of life. Our speakers and workshop host will tap into the unknown – together with you.
Our vision is to create a get together of thinkers with female and male attendees being highly committed, with a participative content and the number of seats limited to 150. If you’re interested in being part of a community sharing wisdom and knowledge, you’re welcome to register.

INGA BEALE (GB) – CEO LLOYD’S OF LONDON
According to The Guardian Inga Beale has made business history twice in her career – so far. 2014 she became the first woman to be appointed as chief executive of the 328-year-old Lloyd’s of London insurance market.
And 2016 she made somewhat bigger headlines – as the first woman, and the first bisexual person, to head the annual power list of the top 100 LGBT – lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender – executives.
Prior to Lloyd’s, Inga was the Group Chief Executive Officer at Canopius, a prominent Lloyd’s managing agent, from 2012 – 2013. Inga joined Zurich Insurance Group in 2008 as a member of the Group Management Board in Zurich with responsibility for Mergers & Acquisitions, Organisational Transformation and Internal Consulting, before becoming Global Chief Underwriting Officer in 2009. In 2006, Inga was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Converium in Switzerland and, while there, led a major turnaround of the business before it was acquired by SCOR in 2007. Prior to that Inga had spent 14 years at GE Insurance Solutions holding various underwriting management roles, gaining experience across London, the US, and France, before becoming President of GE Frankona and Head of Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa based in Germany. Inga is also an external Board member of the UK Government’s Financial Services Trade and Investment Board, the London Mayor’s Business Advisory Board, and the Geneva Association.
Beale was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to the economy.
Inga Beale will challenge us in her keynote speech. Because she wants us to celebrate the unknown, embrace and learn to love it: „I learned to see and take advantage of opportunities in my life although I never knew what is going to happen. It is elevating and enriching to dive into the unknown. And I don’t think we always need to know what will be all the time. I like to share with you how I made decisions in my life and what the consequences have been“. www.lloyds.com
PROF. MICHAEL BRAUNGART (DE) – LECTURER, AUTHOR & INVENTOR OF CRADLE-TO-CRADLE
Is a German chemist and currently holds the Academic Cradle to Cradle-Design Chair at the LEUPHANA University in Lüneburg. He is the CEO of EPEA Internationale Umweltforschung – ‘The cradle of Cradle to Cradle‘
Cradle to Cradle
Over the last decades, people have tried to protect the environment by destroying less. Different methods are used to communicate the same message: shrink your ecological footprint by reducing your water consumption, energy use, and waste production. Traditionally, people think they are doing good if they are less bad. This approach does not lead to environmental protection; it is actually just minimizing damage. If I prevent my child from running into traffic only half of the time, I’m not really protecting my child. Cradle to Cradle uses the Triple Top Line to define our future in a positive way. This strategy focuses on growth by focussing on design and value creation through products that enhance the wellbeing of nature and culture while generating economic value.
The theme of his keynote will be: If the future can be positive, why choose differently? www.braungart.com
JADE HORSMAN (GB) – CYBER SECURITY EXPERT AT DARKTRACE
Jade is a Cyber Security Expert at Darktrace. She specializes in disruptive ‘immune system’ technologies, briefing organizations in Switzerland and across Europe on the latest trends in cyber security and providing in-depth advice on how they can make themselves more resilient to today’s cyber-threats. Prior to joining Darktrace, Jade worked at both Cisco and SAP. She holds a Business degree from the University of Bath, and attended The International School of Lausanne.
Every day, organizations are being attacked by novel, never-seen-before cyber-threats, which get more sophisticated all the time. From ransomware, to silent, stealthy attacks, organizations are struggling to protect their assets and their investors’ and clients’ trust. We are witnessing the advent of the first self-learning and self-defending networks, which will empower organizations to protect themselves from the inside out – much like one of the most powerful biological systems, the human immune system, which can build a sense of ‘self’, and spot and fight threats such as viruses and bacteria. Organizations can leverage advanced artificial intelligence technology to detect and halt infiltration without any human intervention. www.darktrace.com
In this keynote, Jade will discuss:
• Real-world examples of subtle, unknown threats, such as how your office fish-tank or connected cappuccino maker could be used by criminals as an inroad to the CEO’s emails
• Why cyber security is no longer an IT problem, but a boardroom issue
• How autonomous response AI technology is the future of cyber security

After her studies she followed her artistic drive, first in London, then in Chicago and Bermuda.
